Jamie Amos is a songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and Record Label (Moody Cat), founder. He collaborates with a diverse range of emerging indie, acoustic, and pop artists. Across the various projects he has contributed to, Jamie has collectively amassed over 327 million streams to date.
His musical journey began in his bedroom recording with his first band, The Blue Pursuit. Alongside his early work as a promoter, his talent soon caught the attention of State of the Ark Studios, where he secured a position as a runner. Demonstrating a strong work ethic and creative flair, Jamie progressed to the role of assistant, working alongside respected names such as MyRiot (Walking on Cars, James Morrison) and Omar Hakim. This experience led to further opportunities, including an in-house engineering role at Domino Publishing, as well as freelance work as a runner and assistant at renowned studios including Metropolis Studios, Strongroom Studios, Tileyard Studios. In addition to his work behind the scenes, Jamie has enjoyed a successful career as a session musician, performing with acclaimed artists such as Tom Grennan, Nilüfer Yanya, Lexie Carroll, Westerman, Rhumba Club, and Bea Munro. His performances have taken him to many of London’s most iconic live venues, including the O2 Brixton Academy and Shepherd’s Bush Empire, alongside tours across Europe including Turkey, Germany and Iceland. Passionate about nurturing the next generation of music creators, he is actively involved in educational outreach, having delivered talks and workshops at schools and colleges including Oxted School and Reigate College.
